Harvey Dong is a Professor of Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies in the Ethnic Studies department at UC Berkeley. In this interview, he discusses his experiences during the pandemic including transitioning to online teaching, his participation in the Third World Liberation Front Strikes of 1969, his Asian American literature-focused bookstore, Eastwind Books of Berkeley, and the continued need for multi-ethnic solidarity.
