Interviewing Connie Liu: Youth Organizing and Workers Rights

Connie Liu is a queer Chinese American who is a youth organizer for Youth MOJO at Chinese Progressive Action (CPA). As a youth organizer she builds up the youths’ leadership skills, teach them about issues such as immigration and disability justice, and supports the youths’ campaigns.

In this interview, Connie discusses what it means to be part of both the Chinese American and queer community. She also talks about the advantages and disadvantages that the pandemic brought upon starting her role at CPA.
